The Impact of Islamic Work Ethics on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Job Satisfaction, and Organizational Commitment in Bandar Abbas Municipality

| Organizational citizenship behavior among employees, particularly in municipal settings, plays a vital role in evaluating organizational quality and performance. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethics on organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among employees of Bandar Abbas Municipality. Islamic work ethics, as a set of values and principles based on religious teachings in the workplace, can significantly contribute to shaping positive work attitudes and behaviors. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The statistical population consisted of employees of Bandar Abbas Municipality, from which 90 standard questionnaires were distributed and collected using random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and structural equation modeling (Smart PLS). The findings indicated that Islamic work ethics have a positive and significant effect on all three dependent variables: organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. |
