Abstract:   (4 Views)
This study was conducted to investigate the impact of organizational culture on employee performance across public, private, and semi-private organizations in Iran. In this study, the relationship between components of organizational culture and employee performance was examined. This research is applied in purpose and utilizes a descriptive-survey approach. The statistical population comprised employees of public, private, and semi-private organizations in Tehran, Isfahan, and Mashhad. For data collection, researcher-made questionnaires utilizing a five-point Likert scale were employed to measure organizational culture components (based on Denison's model) and employee performance (based on Armstrong's as well as Kaplan and Norton's models). Stratified random sampling was conducted, yielding a sample size of 300 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. The results demonstrated that all components of organizational culture (involvement, mission, consistency, and adaptability) have a positive and statistically significant relationship with employee performance. Among these components, "involvement" exhibited the strongest impact on performance. Furthermore, the relationship between organizational culture and performance was stronger in private organizations than in public and semi-private ones. The findings of this research indicate that organizational culture, particularly in organizations that promote values of participation and interaction, plays a decisive role in enhancing employee performance. It is recommended that organizations focus on developing transparent, participative, and innovative organizational cultures to improve employee performance.
